This talisman is used to connect our spirits to the exalted levels of the spiritual and material Universe. It is named after Metatron, a powerful angel acknowledged by both Jewish and Christian tradition.
Powers carried by Metatron position him in angelic hierarchy as an Archangel and a Judge. Henceforth his essence is metaphysically related to all things in harmony, to the perfect geometrical shapes and ordered structures.
The circles of the Fruit of Life symbol are joined to create a sequence of geometric shapes rising in their complexity. In their three dimensional equivalent they correspond to the Cube, Tetrahedron, Icosahedron, Dodecahedron and Octahedron. Those shapes, when combined, describe a whole variety of matter in the Universe, whether crystalline or amorphous, living or dead. All complex structures and patterns can be traced to combination of those basic shapes.
